My Thoughts on The Flatiron School!
With graduation merely a few days away, I figured what better way to reflect on my last few months at Flatiron than to write a blog! For anybody who is considering attending a software engineering bootcamp and trying to figure out which one is best, you have come to the right spot! Here i’ll give you the breakdown as to why I thoroughly enjoyed the past few months at Flatiron, the entire bootcamp process and why you should attend also!
- Choosing Flatiron
When I first considered starting a career in software engineering, I didn’t even know what a coding bootcamp was! However, throughout my research I kept hearing about their existence and wondered if they truly provided the proper education and resources needed to enter the workforce. It was to my delight that Flatiron was very transparent, both on their website and when speaking to a representative over the phone, with their job placement numbers. Additionally, they were quick to provide you with a free bootcamp prep course so that you can decide if coding is even a proper fit! Once I started the free course, I immediately was reassured that this was a career I wanted to pursue and Flatiron was continuously following up to make sure when I was ready to start preparing for their admissions interview.
